What We Need

The individual in this position is responsible for leveraging information gathering and analysis/modeling skills to help deliver effective automation solutions to process owners.  Working within an Agile method, the Associate Analyst will collaborate with users and developers to ensure that solutions are focused on root cause issues to deliver improved value. Analytical skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, and knowledge of risk and controls are foundational to success in this role.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

  • Help identify process pain points and opportunities to leverage automation to increase value and efficiency throughout the organization

  • Support the development of a holistic approach along with process owners to prescribe process solutions

  • Write agile user stories that will inform the development and testing teams as to required features

  • Provide assistance in UAT and test scenario/case development

  • Facilitate UAT of deployment ready projects

  • Analyze impact from process changes to risks and controls within processes

  • Manage expectations and report project progress to stakeholders and team members

  • Serve as a liaison between development partners and business SMEs

  • Help define and execute the roadmap for automation within OCC

  • Serve as Scrum Master on efforts

  • Work closely with OCC information technology teams to integrate the automation platforms with other existing platforms

  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies that support solution delivery

  • Work as a member of the Process Innovation team, and coordinate with all team members to address customer requests

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of BPM and automation general principles

  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile

  • Understanding of risk and controls within processes

  • Experience with Process Modeling and Continuous Improvement methods

  • Familiarity with delivering human-centric design solutions 

  • Experience in collecting and documenting business requirements to solve process inefficiencies

  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, team, and leadership

  • Ability to think logically in a manner to learn script writing for automation tools

  • Ability to interact with various departments to successfully collect needed information to complete analysis efforts.

  • Ability to work proactively in identifying risks and proposing solutions

  • Ability to plan/manage/prioritize work to meet objectives of multiple or competing priorities/projects

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with JIRA (preferred)

  • Understanding of functionality BPM Tools (preferred)

  • Understanding of RPA Tools (preferred)

Education and/or Experience:

  • Business or technology related bachelor’s degree

  • Exposure to business analysis 

  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies
