Acts as a major contributor in architecture design and in the development of scalable resilient hybrid Cloud-based solutions that support critical financial risk management activities. Mentors and collaborates with developers, architects, and product owners to drive the strategy of transforming the enterprise into a data-driven organization. Perform application design and development of big data application for business requirements in agreed architecture framework and Agile environment. Design highly performing, scalable, secure, reliable and cost optimized solutions. Lead requirement analysis and review to identify missing or incomplete requirements. Design and develop complex data pipelines to process and structure the real time data using Apache Kafka. Build data flow channels and processing systems to extract, transform, load and integrate data from various sources using Apache Flink framework. Migrate legacy systems from on-prem environments to AWS cloud for high scalability and performance. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, information systems or related and five (5) years of software development or systems analysis experience.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Designing and developing complex data pipelines to process and structure the real time data using Apache Kafka; 2) Building data flow channels and processing systems to extract, transform, load and integrate data from various sources using Apache Flink framework or Spring Boot; and 3) Migrating legacy systems from on-prem environments to AWS cloud for high scalability and performance.
