The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization. Founded in 1973, OCC is dedicated to promoting stability and market integrity by delivering clearing and settlement services for options, futures and securities lending transactions. What You'll Do
The Associate Principal, Security Business Operations will work with various Security Services team members and Management and is responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our metrics program, performing business and data analytics, and supporting our automation efforts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
Responsibilities include the development and implementation of best practices regarding the gathering, reporting, automation, and representation of security KPI’s and KRI’s to various OCC stakeholders.
Recommend appropriate metrics, reporting frameworks and standards.
Recommend and implement automation of key risk indicators and cyber security reports/dashboards (e.g., implementing data pipelines, automating delivery of data, automating assembly of data/dashboard)
Implement KPI metrics and dashboards and the data pipelines to automatically refresh the underlying data.
Work with process owners to manage analytics projects, including identifying needs, building requirements, and developing a project plan
Implement analytics solutions using available data, including building data pipelines and dashboards using enterprise tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow
Document metrics and automation development and execution steps in job aids and/or systems of record.

Excellent oral and written communication, analytical skills to successfully analyze, model and communicate complex problem domains and solutions.

Ability to work independently and effectively with local and remote OCC staff, management, vendors, and consultants while exercising sound judgment.
Strong understanding of information technology and risk management concepts
Possesses critical IT values (i.e., fact based, collaborative, credibility/trust and judgment).
Experience working with Alteryx, Tableau, and Excel.
Experience scripting in Python, R, SQL, Unix/Linux or similar languages.
Understanding of modern data architecture, including databases, warehouse, lakes and cloud computing.
Plus for experience with ServiceNow and Archer GRC
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor Degree - Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
5 or more years hands-on Information Security related work experience.
Previous work in Data analytics and reporting.
Certificates or Licenses:
Professional network and/or security certifications a plus (i.e., GIAC, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC)
