Duties:

Support the availability and performance of the next generation of OCC’s systems. Enhance system reliability and developer productivity through automation and providing guidance to development teams in areas including cloud technologies, application profiling, application monitoring, logging, metrics collection, and analysis. Architect, develop, and maintain shared services and tools to improve reliability and reduce toil across the organization. Assess the production readiness of services. Define and track operational metrics for production performance, reliability, scalability, and availability. Administer application platforms like Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins and build and deploy the containers on AWS. Follow Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach, including a full CI/CD pipeline to automate testing leveraging tools such as Jenkins and AWS DevOps Services. Set up logging and monitoring with SignalFX stack for application/database and service monitoring. Identify the sources of manual work and automate using Ansible, Terraform or programming languages like BASH or Python. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in CS, information systems or engineering and five (5) years of infrastructure automation experience.  

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following: 1)  Administering application platforms like Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins and build and deploy the containers on Azure or AWS; 2)  Follow Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach, including a full CI/CD pipeline to automate testing leveraging tools such as Jenkins and Azure or AWS DevOps Services; 3)  Set up logging and monitoring with SignalFX or ELK stack for application/database and service monitoring; and 4) Identify the sources of manual work and automate using Ansible, Terraform or programming languages like BASH or Python.

Salary

$128,315-$139,000
