Duties:

Partner with business, technical and analytics teams to understand specific requirements to drive the strategy, development, execution, and continuous improvement of core BI and data analytics infrastructure and processes. Responsible for data-centric design, development and architecture using BI reporting and analytics tools, including QlikView, Cognos and SAP Business Objects. Design, set-up, manage and administer analytics servers, specifically for Tableau and Alteryx based solutions. Design, develop and manage data visualization reports, dashboards and data sources using tools such as Tableau and Alteryx for multiple projects. Design data models and data base views and support build-out of data pipelines using multiple data storage and analysis toolsets including modern distributed technologies. Perform data integration with on prem and cloud infrastructure to Tableau, Alteryx and Power BI using Python, Shell scripting and data pipelines. Perform predictive modeling, lean and real-time analytics, and data governance using Hadoop and Spark along with relational and OLAP databases. Use data visualization best practices to enable teams of analysts and data scientists in the support of the design and development of BI, reporting, and analytics solutions for multiple projects, and deliver insights. Automate and optimize existing Tableau and data processing workflows by monitoring usage patterns and data workloads and implementing solutions.*This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, data science or related and seven (7) years of experience in software engineering and BI analytics.

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following: 1. Performing  data integration with on prem and cloud infrastructure to Tableau, Alteryx and Power BI using Python, Shell scripting and data pipelines; 2.  Data-centric design, development and architecture using BI reporting and analytics tools, including QlikView, Cognos and SAP Business Objects; and 3. Predictive modeling, lean and real-time analytics, and data governance using Hadoop and Spark along with relational and OLAP databases.

Salary

$127,308 -$150,722
