Duties:

Support an enterprise-wide compliance monitoring program. Work closely with business units to identify areas of compliance risk, establishing access to relevant data sources, and developing automated solutions (e.g., dashboards, reports, and predictive tools) to support the monitoring and mitigation of compliance risk. Collaborate with Compliance team members to assess existing technologies and data sets and determine how they can best be used to drive analysis and inform decision-making for Compliance personnel and other stakeholders. Develop user interfaces for analyzing data, executing monitoring activities, and reporting insights. Implement statistical methods and predictive analytics techniques through Python and R to analyze structured and unstructured data, and develop quantitative models. Develop analytics data pipeline through ETL tools, reporting, and visualization of financial and operational data in near real-time using BI (business intelligence) software such as Tableau or PowerBI. Design GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) tool by applying quantitative risk assessment methods, including stress testing and scenario analysis, and develop emerging risk indicators for operational and enterprise risk exposure quantification. Participate in the design and development of sustainable, automated reporting for a variety of audiences including Compliance personnel and management, executive leadership, the Board, and regulators. Conduct analyses, formulate insights, and synthesize findings for presentation to management and other stakeholders. Assist in training other Compliance team members on data analytics and related technology.*This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, math, statistics or related and two (2) years of experience as a quantitative analyst.

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following: 1. Implementing  statistical methods and predictive analytics techniques through Python and R to analyze structured and unstructured data, and developing quantitative models; 2.  Developing analytics data pipeline through ETL tools, reporting, and visualization of financial and operational data in near real-time using BI (business intelligence) software such as Tableau or PowerBI; and 3. Designing GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) tool by applying quantitative risk assessment methods, including stress testing and scenario analysis, and developing emerging risk indicators for operational and enterprise risk exposure quantification for the financial services industry.

Salary

$103,388.00-$138,352.00
