Duties:

Serve as team lead by providing technical guidance to other team members for the design, implementation and support of new cloud and automation technologies, as well as updates and maintenance of existing cloud and automation systems. Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization for cloud and virtualization end-to-end architecture and IaaS, as well as PaaS and SaaS solutions such as AWS Redshift. Design, develop, and build the business’s cloud infrastructure architecture. Develop and maintain a library of deployable, tested, and documented automation design scripts, processes, and procedures. Extract application code from Github to build and package through Jenkins automation pipelines. Enable DevOps development activities and complex development tasks that will involve working with tools such as Docker, Kafka and container management systems. Configure AWS servers using Ansible by writing playbooks and implementing them on the servers. Develop Terraform, Shell and pipeline code to build infrastructure in AWS cloud platform. Provide advanced system administration, operational support and problem resolution for a large complex cloud computing environment. Design, configure, implement and support an automated workflow for cloud and virtual environment provisioning. Implement production changes during defined maintenance windows and support on call rotation. Serve as a point of escalation within the team for production support issues. Perform cloud computing and virtual environment build-outs, software installation, maintenance and support. Write and maintain documentation of relevant operating procedures and processes. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*

Education & Experience Required:

Master’s degree in computer science or information science and two (2) years of experience in cloud infrastructure development.  In lieu of a master's degree in computer science or information science and 2 years of cloud infrastructure development experience, will accept a bachelor's degree and five years of experience in the same fields.

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following:  1) Configuring AWS servers using Ansible by writing playbooks and implementing them on the servers; 2) Extracting application code from Github to build and package through Jenkins automation pipelines; and 3) Developing Terraform, Shell and pipeline code to build infrastructure in AWS cloud platform.

Salary

$104,800.00 - $162,400.00
