What You'll Do
The Principal, HR Business Management is a critical and trusted leadership role as the strategic right-hand person to the CHRO and the HR Leadership team. This role, will help drive strategic business planning,
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Partners with the CHRO and HR Leadership team to implement HR initiatives that support the HR strategy.
Responsible for HR budget management including:
Coordinate with Finance and HRLT budget items
Track, monitor, and report to Accounting monthly accruals
Track, analyze, and report to HRLT on monthly performance against estimates
Process invoices and ensure they are coded to the right budget and line item, and accounted for in monthly accruals
Provide follow-up to key stakeholders to ensure payments are fulfilled and communicated (e.g., Accounting, vendor)
License management for all software for HR (e.g., pluralsite, cloud guru, Aspire, MTM, HMM)
Serves as the point of contact for regulatory requests.
Coordinates control maintenance with ERM.
Business Continuity Liaison and Coordination for HR.
Serves as the document facilitator for all HR Documents.
Coordinates the quarterly reviews of HR Compass page with HRLT and/or corresponding team members.
Provides support to optimize the use of JIRA/Confluence/Agile method across the HR team.
Coordinates the scheduling of HR Department meetings, assembles agenda, guest speakers and presentation.
Maintains HR calendar standard processes and communications and acts as a liaison between the HRLT and Corporate Communications.
Supports the CHRO in the preparation of Board and Management Committee materials.
Oversees the planning of large HR events such as Bring Your Kids to Work Day, Corporate Challenge, etc.
Assists in the completion of corporate liability and other corporate insurance applications, corporate distribution lists, annual report, etc.
Proactively identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement, process optimization and system enhancements across the HR function to support business strategies and operational needs.
Manage and execute special projects as designated by the CHRO and/or the HRLT.

Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience as a Chief of Staff, Project Manager or related position supporting executive level roles.
Experience with budget management.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills, with strong ability to exercise judgment to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Organized with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
Comfortable problem solving and making independent decisions in a fast-paced work environment.
Comfort with ambiguity, agility and changing priorities.
