Duties:

Drive technical design and implementation for complex applications. Analyze end-to-end system solutions and perform planning, design, testing, and implementation. Design solutions and provide support for organizationally critical applications that require extensive knowledge of OCC’s business processes and capabilities. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Develop and leverage automation tools to provide a quicker time to market for delivery of project solutions. Implement multi-threaded real-time applications using distributed streaming framework Apache Flink, rule-based routing engine Apache Camel and messaging broker Kafka.  Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build and deployment process to AWS cloud with Jenkins, Harness and Docker.  Deploy and monitor applications in the production environment using Autosys, helm charts and AppDynamics. Act as a technical resource to the development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process. Provide timely resolution for production issues in conjunction with Production Support staff. Participate in code reviews and application transition to support team. Provide guidance and technical consultation in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies that assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient application programming solution. Act as a mentor to Application Developers, transferring application business, systems and architectural knowledge. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related and five (5) years of experience as an application developer or IT analyst.

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following:  1)  Implementing multi-threaded real-time applications using distributed streaming framework Apache Flink, rule-based routing engine Apache Camel and messaging broker Kafka; 2) Implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate the build and deployment process to AWS cloud with Jenkins, Harness and Docker; and 3)  Deploying and monitoring applications in the production environment using Autosys, helm charts and AppDynamics.

Salary

$127,150 .00 - $148,526.00
