Duties:

Responsible for creating business rules based on critical data elements and designing and implementing data quality dashboards for monitoring and reporting purposes using business intelligence and reporting tools such as Cognos and Tableau. Maintain exception lists for rules that fail based on data domains and collaborate with business stakeholders to correct the exceptions to meet defined business rules. Design, build and execute data quality rules over the critical data elements (CDEs) identified according to the business needs to ensure clean and healthy data. Develop and implement data quality solutions for multiple data sources across on prem and cloud environments using IBM InfoSphere (Information Analyzer and DataStage) and Kafka. Build data lineage using Information Governance Catalog on various on prem and cloud sources. Perform data analysis, data profiling, and data quality measurement across multiple sources to assess the data and identify anomalies and recommend fixes. Partner with Business and Data Owners to define business data quality rules and convert them into technical data quality rules. Manage data quality exceptions, perform root cause analysis, and support data quality remediation processes by working with Business teams. Create, develop, and manage data governance workflows using BPM processes. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related and three (3) years of data governance experience within the financial domain.

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Developing and implementing data quality solutions for multiple data sources across on prem and cloud environments using IBM InfoSphere (Information Analyzer and DataStage) and Kafka ; 2) Building data  quality dashboards using business intelligence and reporting tools such as Cognos and Tableau; and 3) Building data lineage using Information Governance Catalog on various on prem and cloud sources.

Salary

$94,037 to $130,300
