Duties:
Collaborate with vendors, common carriers, and various teams to identify and resolve complex network problems. Install and support network solutions based on information security. Provide tactical and strategic input to support the creation of network planning for data communication networks and related projects. Ensure network performance and network security standards are met. Build, test and support routing and switching components. Upgrade hardware and software to support networks. Support and troubleshoot IP communications. Plan and assist in network changes and new infrastructure deployments based on new networking technologies. Document network changes, policies and procedures and drawings and present plans to management. Leverage experience with routing protocols such as Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF). Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Cisco VPN. Handle Cloud Virtualization Infrastructure for technologies specific to VMWare NSX and Cisco. Perform Cloud platform Migrations and SDN upgrades. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications or related and three (3) years of network support experience.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1. Experience with routing protocols such as Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF); 2. Configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco VPN; 3. Handling Cloud Virtualization Infrastructure for technologies specific to VMWare NSX and Cisco; and 4. Performing Cloud platform Migrations and SDN upgrades.
Salary
$110,344.00 - $ 113,400.00
