Duties:

Responsible for designing and delivering scalable and resilient hybrid and Cloud-based data solutions to support critical financial market clearing and risk activities, leveraging deep knowledge of various security concepts, HW and SW infrastructure components, cloud-based technologies, and big data and data processing technologies. Build large cloud-based data systems that serve as the backbone for the enterprise data management and analytics capabilities. Define system architecture, technology stack and its tactical implementation. Work with large datasets and streaming data in public cloud and hybrid environments. Build large and complex data pipelines. Perform data integration using IBM DataStage or Talend. Design, develop and implement CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Github, Artifactory and Python. Implement automation of current and future processes. Set up BI tools such as Tableau in cloud using AWS. Perform API-first design principle implementation. Understand Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible. Leverage understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts and implementation options to meet business requirements and Service level Agreements. Work closely with business and technical partners to define system architecture, technology stack and its tactical implementation. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*

Education & Experience Required:

Master’s degree in computer science, IT or related and two (2) years of experience in software development.  In lieu of a master's degree in computer science, IT or related and 2 years of software development experience, a bachelor's degree and five years of experience in the same fields will be accepted.

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following:  1) Design and develop CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Github, Artifactory and Python; 2) Perform data integration using IBM DataStage or Talend; and 3) Set up BI tools such as Tableau in cloud using AWS.

Salary

$104,800.00 - $162,400.00
