Duties:

Responsible for the design and implementation of complex business and technical solutions. Design, code, test, debug, and document programs. Analyze end-to-end system solutions including planning, design, testing, and implementation. Design and develop event based secure distributed systems and REST APIs based on API-driven architecture using Java 8, Spring framework and Oauth. Develop microservices based on event-driven architecture using Kafka messaging. Design and develop database systems capable of handling a minimum of 1 million transactions per second using relational databases, including DB2. Participate in code reviews and application transition to support team. Develop and leverage automation tools to market delivery of project solutions. Act as a mentor to application developers, transferring application business, systems and architectural knowledge. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*


Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering and three (3) years of experience in application development.

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following: 1. Designing and developing event based secure distributed systems and REST APIs based on API-driven architecture using Java 8, Spring framework and Oauth; 2. Developing microservices based on event-driven architecture using Kafka messaging; and 3. Designing and developing database systems capable of handling a minimum of 1 million transactions per second using relational databases such as DB2 or POSTGRESQL.

Salary

$91,853-$142,300
