Comprehensive technology overhaul for the world’s largest equity derivatives clearing house

May 11, 2022

Throughout the challenging market environment of the past two years, OCC’s clearing system, ENCORE, has served market participants well, processing record transaction volumes while managing exposures to a diverse set of risks. However, OCC’s ongoing transformation, including planned technology enhancements and data standardization, will help further drive operational excellence internally and externally.

OCC’s Chief Operating Officer, Scot Warren, sat down with Zoi Fletcher from Risk.net to discuss our plans to utilize modern and modular architecture, the Cloud (pending regulatory approval), and distributed ledger technology to enhance resiliency, security, scalability and transparency while reducing costs for market participants. Listen to the podcast on Risk.net’s website.
