Thomas Barrett

Thomas Barrett is Global Head of Rates Electronic Trading and Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Execution Services at Goldman Sachs & Co. In this role, Mr. Barrett focuses on interest rate products, commodities, and agency futures. Mr. Barrett was named managing director in 2010 and partner in 2014. Previously, Mr. Barrett was a vice president in the mortgage strats group. Mr. Barrett joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 as an associate in the mortgage strats group, where he worked for four years. Mr. Barrett earned a BS in Applied Mathematics from Northwestern University in 1999 and an MS in Financial Mathematics from The University of Chicago in 2004.

Mr. Barrett is a Member Director on OCC's Board of Directors and serves on the Technology Committee and the Risk Committee.
