Mark F. Dehnert

Mark Dehnert is head of the Goldman Sachs Execution and Clearing (GSEC) business and oversees the Prime Services Risk and Product Development teams globally for Prime Services in the Securities Division. Previously, he was head of the Quantitative Trading and Specialists business. Mr. Dehnert was named managing director in 2000, following Goldman Sachs' acquisition of the Hull Group, and partner in 2002.

Mr. Dehnert joined the Hull Group as a financial engineer in 1992. He spent time in both Europe and Asia working on exchange-based equity and option trading strategies and was named a principal at Hull in 1996. In 2002, Mr. Dehnert moved to New York to help develop a strategist group for the Equities Division. In 2004, he was named head of the Quantitative Trading business in Equities.

Mr. Dehnert earned a BS and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Mr. Dehnert is a Member Director on OCC's Board of Directors and serves on the Compensation and Performance Committee and the Risk Committee.
