The Options Clearing Corporation Announces New Director Of Government Relations

CHICAGO, March 5, 2007 - The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) announced today that Bradley Edgell, 43, will assume responsibilities as Director, Government Relations for OCC effective today.

In her role as Director, Edgell will report to Susan Milligan, Senior Vice President, Government Relations and Communications. Her responsibilities include helping Milligan identify legislative issues of concern to OCC and the Securities Markets Coalition, and developing and implementing appropriate strategies to address these issues.

"We're excited to have Bradley join OCC, whose rich background working in legislative positions will provide valuable insight to our efforts in Washington," said Milligan.

Since 2003, Edgell has served as the Legislative Director for Congressman Jim Marshall (D-GA). Prior to this position, Edgell held several legislative positions for Congressman Ken Bentsen Jr. (D-TX), Congresswoman Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky (D-PA), Congressman Claude Harris (D-AL), as well as an Assistant Political Liaison position for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Edgell graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and Spanish from the University of Michigan.
