Duties:

As a major contributor in architecture design, will develop scalable resilient hybrid Cloud-based solutions supporting critical financial risk management activities. Design, develop, and implement business solutions for large scale IT projects using Java/J2EE, Spring Microservices and Cloud Technologies. Design, develop and integrate RESTful services using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Apache Kafka. Develop, test, deploy and monitor applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AppDynamics. Work closely with business analysts, team leads, architects, product owners, and other developers to drive the strategy of transforming the enterprise into a data-driven organization and lead through innovative strategic thinking in building data solutions. Serve as a mentor to developers, architects, and product owners and work with business, technical, and non-technical professionals in a project environment. Design and develop big data applications for business requirements in agreed architecture framework and Agile environment. Actively participate in and lead requirement analysis and reviews to identify missing or incomplete requirements. Identify and validate assumptions made in the models. Perform thorough code-reviews based on high engineering standards. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in  CS, computer engineering or related and five (5) years of software development experience.

Special Skills Required:

Must have work experience with each of the following: 1. Designing, developing, and implementing business solutions for large scale IT projects using Java/J2EE, Spring Microservices and Cloud Technologies; 2. Designing, developing and integrating RESTful services using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RabitMQ or Apache Kafka; 3.  Developing, testing, deploying and monitoring applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AppDynamics.

Salary

$154,500-$175,100
