Duties:
Responsible for the development and delivery of business features in the application, integrating with a variety of upstream data-sources and presenting data through the user interface, while enriching and advancing the platform. Design and develop UI using Javascript frameworks including React, Node JS and Angular. Contribute to front-end design, technical direction and front-end architecture, including collaborating with various teams to build fit for purpose solutions. Create CI and CD for application and database deployments using Github, Jenkins, Artifactory or Harness. Participate in code reviews, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues and defects as well as assisting with continuous improvement. Actively participate in creation and review of both business and technical user stories, providing constructive feedback and input on both Sofwork effort estimation as well as architecture/design improvements. Use monitoring tools and frameworks like Splunk and AppDynamics to identify application bottlenecks and implement improvements to deliver low latency and high throughput applications. Integrate disparate data from REST and WebSocket services within a cohesive user interface. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT or engineering and five (5) years of software development experience.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Designing and developing UI using Javascript frameworks including React, Node JS and Angular; 2) Creating CI and CD for application and database deployments using Github, Jenkins, Artifactory or Harness; and 3) Using monitoring tools and frameworks like Splunk and AppDynamics to identify application bottlenecks and implement improvements to deliver low latency and high throughput applications.
Salary
$125,445.00 – $141,900.00
