What You'll Do

The Associate Principal, Security Business Operations will work with various Security Services team members and Management and is responsible for driving Security’s strategic automation objectives and supporting integration of security scanning capabilities into OCC’s CICD pipeline infrastructure.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

  • Responsibilities include the development and execution of strategic automation objections across the Security Services organization including development of a coordinated task request and management system and centralized cyber risk management decision support system.

  • Working with security process owners to automate manual processes, including identifying needs, building requirements, developing a project plan, and managing executing of the plan

  • Drive the integration of security scanning capabilities into OCC’s CI/CD pipeline infrastructure through maintenance of project plan/deliverables/timeline, management of developers’ workloads, and leading sprint planning.

  • Drive the transition of application security vulnerability management process from Jira to ServiceNow

  • Document automation development and execution steps and workflows in job aids and/or systems of record.

  • Excellent oral and written communication, analytical skills to successfully analyze, model and communicate complex problem domains and solutions.

  • Organized, curious, persistent and service-oriented.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively with local and remote OCC staff, management, vendors, and consultants while exercising sound judgment.

  • Project Management experience

  • Possesses critical IT values (i.e., fact based, collaborative, credibility/trust and judgment).

Technical Skills:

  • Programming knowledge and coding experience, particularly Python, JSON, JAVA, SQL, Unix/Linux, Bash or similar languages

  • Experience working with APIs

  • Experiencing parsing (HTML, XML, etc.)

  • Proficient in Github and Jenkins

  • Experience working in ServiceNow, Tableau, Archer GRC, Jira, and Confluence

  • Docker experience in automating deployments and testing

  • Understanding of modern data architecture, including databases, warehouse, lakes and cloud computing.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree - Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Economics or related field or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.

  • 5 or more years hands-on Information Security related work experience.

Certificates or Licenses:

  • Professional network and/or security certifications a plus (i.e., GIAC, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC)
