Duties:
Responsible for developing scalable and resilient hybrid and Cloud-based data solutions supporting critical financial market clearing and risk activities. Collaborate with developers, architects and product owners to drive the strategy of transforming the enterprise into a data-driven organization and lead through innovative strategic thinking in building data solutions. Design, develop, and implement solutions for data requirements working closely with business and technology partners utilizing RESTful API services. Create and maintain cloud data warehouses and databases using Postgres, AWS and SQL Server. Participate in the API-first design principle implementation using DevOps tools and technologies such as GIT, Jenkins, Docker, Nexus/Artifactory and CI/CD pipeline. Integrate custom code with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. Write and optimize complex analytical SQL queries. Define data architecture, technology stack and its tactical implementation. Handle large datasets and manage streaming data in public cloud and hybrid environments. Develop reports based in user requirements using data visualization tools such as Tableau. Develop and build large and complex data pipelines, integrate data coming from diverse sources in different formats. Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, mathematics, electrical engineering or related and three (3) years of experience as a software developer, business intelligence developer, data engineer or related.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Write and optimize complex analytical SQL queries; 2) Develop reports based on user requirements using data visualization tools such as Tableau; 3) Create and maintain cloud data warehouses and databases using Postgres, AWS and SQL Server; and 4) Integrate custom code with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Salary
$120,890-$122,000
