Duties:
Support full lifecycle of the Data Platform and other Data Warehouse projects. Work with developers to help execute and test various data applications that support storing, transforming, and providing access to historical data. Test data served through API’s and generated reports. Validate applications and API’s that provide historical access to data. Write and execute automated test suites against multiple projects in Agile environment. Validate multiple projects sourcing data from data sources including IBM DB2 and Amazon S3. Validate data platform reports for accuracy and look and feel. Validate and verify ETL data loading from source to target databases and services like DB2, Amazon S3, AWS EMR, Amazon RDS. Create Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for continuous build and deployment. Create automated scripts to validate large datasets pertaining to financial data using Python and PySpark. Participate in daily Scrum standups and update task status in Jira. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation’s Employee Referral Program.*
Education & Experience Required:
Master’s degree in CS or related and one (1) year of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Assurance Tester, Quality Assurance Engineer, ETL Developer or related.
Special Skills Required:
Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Validate and verify ETL data loading from source to target databases and services like DB2, AWS S3, AWS EMR and Amazon RDS; 2) Create Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for continuous build and deployment; and 3) Create automated scripts to validate large datasets pertaining to financial data using Python and PySpark.

$96,200-$102,600
