Scot E. Warren

Scot Warren is a senior advisor at OCC, the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization.
Most recently, Scot served as the Chief Operating Officer prior to announcing his retirement from OCC effective in April 2023. As COO, Scot had oversight responsibilities for OCC's operations, project management, business process optimization functions, finance, business development, and human resources. Prior to that, he was Chief Administrative Officer, a position he assumed in 2016 after joining OCC in 2015 as Executive Vice President of Business and Product Development.
Before joining OCC, Mr. Warren served as Senior Managing Director - Equity Products and Index Services at CME Group. In that role, he managed CME's equity index futures business product line and also led CME's entry into index services via the acquisition of Dow Jones Indices and the subsequent formation of the S&P Dow Jones joint venture with McGraw-Hill Financial. Previously, he was Vice President, Securities Division at Goldman Sachs, where he served as Chief Financial Officer for America's Trading, and prior to that, he served as President of Hull Transaction Services. Mr. Warren also held senior positions at Chicago Corporation/ABN AMRO and Arthur Anderson.
Mr. Warren previously served on the Board of Directors of S&P Dow Jones Indexes, One Chicago and Illinois Swimming.
Mr. Warren received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in Financial Markets and Trading from Illinois Institute of Technology.
