William T. Yates

Bill Yates is Managing Director and Treasurer for TD Ameritrade. He is responsible for TD Ameritrade's Treasury functions including asset/liability management, liquidity monitoring and management, debt capital markets activity, and corporate banking, as well as the firm's Corporate Tax function. Mr. Yates has been with TD Ameritrade since 1996, developing extensive brokerage financial and back office operational, clearance, funding, and settlement experience. He also has extensive experience in acquisition due diligence and integration, and has been an active participant in TD Ameritrade's online brokerage industry consolidation activities throughout the 2000's. Prior to joining TD Ameritrade, Mr. Yates spent nine years with the public accounting firm Arthur Andersen LLP.

Mr. Yates has served in various capacities in the securities industry, including roles with the FINRA (formerly NASDR) Financial Responsibility Committee, and more recently FINRA's Midwest District Committee. He is presently a member of the Board of Directors and various governance committees of CHI Health Nebraska, serving in these capacities for CHI Health and its predecessors since 2008. Mr. Yates holds securities industry Series 7, 24, 27, and 53 licenses, and is a member of the Nebraska State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Yates is a Member Director on OCC's Board of Directors and serves on the Audit Committee and the Governance and Nominating Committee.
