Ben Le
Interim Chief Security Officer
Ben Le serves as Interim Chief Security Officer at OCC, the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization.
In this role, Mr. Le is responsible for Cyber Operations, Security Governance, Security Business Operations, Security Engineering & Technology Integration, and the Security Red Team.
Mr. Le brings more than a decade of experience at OCC across enterprise risk management, security risk governance, and cyber risk leadership. Most recently, he served as Deputy Chief Security Officer, where he supported the development and execution of the Security Services strategy. Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of Security Assurance, and before that as Director of Cyber Risk, where he led the implementation of the Cyber Risk program covering security assessment, observation tracking, baseline, and accreditation activities. He also represented OCC on the ARC’s (Analysis & Resilience Center for Systemic Risk) Risk Committee. Before joining OCC, he spent nearly five years at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Houston as an Enterprise Risk Services Consultant and Senior Consultant, advising financial services and energy clients on IPO readiness, third party security risk, and SOX IT General Controls.
Mr. Le received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Houston and holds a CISSP® certification.
