Get to Know OCC’s Corporate Communications Team

OCC’s Corporate Communication team, named PR Department of the Year in the 2022 and 2023 Best in Biz Awards, acts as the driving force behind the organization’s internal and external communications, including external relations (corporate marketing, public relations, brand management and thought leadership), employee communications, social media and creative/design.

The team consists of seven members who are responsible for increasing awareness and transparency of OCC’s business initiatives and developing integrated communications to foster colleague engagement. Together, the team executes a proactive thought leadership strategy that aims to drive deeper interaction, raise brand awareness, educate the marketplace, and help attract and retain diverse talent.

Michael Shore

Executive Director, Head of Corporate Communications

Professional Background:

  • Head of Corporate Communications, leading internal and external efforts
  • 25+ years of experience in financial services, technology, policy and government. 
  • Served in senior leadership roles at public companies, private corporations and non-profit organizations
  • Skilled in corporate/product marketing, media relations, crisis communications, change management, investor relations, executive communications, and content strategy

Fast Facts:

  • Is an endurance athlete and once did 10 duathlons in a single month
  • Was a Pulitzer Prize entrant for breaking news photo

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from the University of Kansas

Lindsey Jukes

Executive Director, Corporate Communications

Professional Background:

  • Leads internal communications strategy
  • 20+ years of experience in financial services industry
  • Skilled in employee engagement, building product marketing programs, shareholder and client communications, and content development

Fast Facts:

  • Worked at Morningstar for nearly 13 years, most recently as Director of Marketing, Investment Services
  • While working for a prior employer, won an essay contest for which the prize was a weeklong corporate-sponsored bird watching expedition

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English from Denison University
  • Master’s degree in literature from Northwestern University

Amy Amato

Executive Creative Director, Corporate Communications

  • Leads creative and design initiatives at OCC
  • 20+ years creative and branding experience for financial services, technology, education, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and non-profit organizations
  • Skilled in creative direction, art direction, design, brand strategy, and communications

  • Loves being outdoors – hiking, skiing, cycling and playing racket sports

Patricia (Trish) Miller

Principal, Corporate Communications

Professional Background:

  • Leads communications strategy for OCC’s multi-year transformation initiative
  • 25+ years of experience in financial services industry
  • Skilled in content development, executive messaging, employee engagement, change management, corporate marketing, and program management

Fast Facts:

  • Worked at JPMorgan Chase for more than 18 years, most recently as Senior Program Manager, Communications
  • Has run more than 10 destination races including a half marathon in San Francisco and 10Ks in Cabo, Washington D.C., and Atlanta

Maura Reilly 

Associate Principal, Corporate Communications

  • Manages and executes internal communications strategy
  • 12+ years of experience in financial services, healthcare, hospitality, and nonprofit industries
