Matthew Hulsizer

Matthew Hulsizer is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of PEAK6 Investments, an Austin-based financial services and technology firm. He oversees the firm’s diversified portfolio of operating businesses, which today includes Apex Clearing Corporation and its parent company Apex Fintech Solutions, PEAK6 Capital Management, PEAK6 Strategic Capital, Bruce Markets, FOCUS, We Insure, Evil Geniuses, Zogo, and Poker Power.
Mr. Hulsizer founded PEAK6 in 1997 as a proprietary options trading firm. Alongside his co-founder Jenny Just, Mr. Hulsizer has created, turned around, or invested in more than 200 companies, ranging from options trading and clearing firms to professional sports teams and companies at the forefront of AI. He has built a track record of identifying underfunded and undervalued opportunities and mentoring emerging investors and founders as they scale their businesses.
Mr. Hulsizer received a Tony award for co-producing the hit musical "Memphis." He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Amherst College.
Mr. Hulsizer is a Member Director on OCC’s Board of Directors.
